The Owl
The owl is a strong symbol. We all know the ‘wise old owl’ from children’s stories, where he is the counsellor to the animals in the wood. From his position on a high branch, or gliding above the landscape, he sees precisely what is going on. The owl is also a strong predator. He uses his razor-sharp claws with unparalleled precision, to take his prey by surprise: sometimes by day, but generally at night. That is when the owl uses his most formidable weapons: his ears and eyes. The owl sees in the dark and has outstanding hearing; he does not miss even the smallest movement. This makes the owl a perfect symbol for a security company.
Taking all of its characteristics together, we feel that the owl is an excellent metaphor for the way we work. That’s why you will see the owl in many of our forms of communication.
